"So you bought the dog already?"
"Ya bought already"
"It havent come home?"
"Havent yet need to wait"
I was caught by surprise with what i overheard while in my room with the conversation from the living room between my dad and sister.
Seriously are we gonna have a dog in our house, with disbelief I went out and asked "wait what did you say?".
"We are going to have a pet dog at home"
"Was it an adoption or bought from farm or pet shop"
"*********"
"Ah i see...."
"Can show us photos of him?"
I was not mentally prepared for a pet at home, things like its future, our daily life, finance and etc went through my mind.
"Wah so cute leh, is it a toy poodle?"
"No this is a maltipoo"
"Never hear before. You never say earlier then jiu buy le?"
"Aiya buy already what"
"Must decide together mah since it will be at home"
"Pa and Ma already know since yesterday"
"Walau now then share to me"
After that i kept telling her must take utmost reaponsibility as it is so different from all the pets we had before. I even went to research immediately on things we need to do and to prepare for. I reiterated we need to care for it like a little baby. Lol
"So how's the encounter with the puppy"
"He was super lively and jumping around. Our interaction was good"
"So its a him ah, ahahah"

Went out for breakkie and headed to Jurong West, we reached the place and the owner with staffs were warmly welcoming us. Somewhere along came the indian auntie came to say hi again after helping us with our way LOL. Greeting my sis with a swagging tail and warmth was Dino our future puppy. So cute! The owner say it recognises its name already, and might still remember my sis.
We went to say hi to our puppy one by one then observe a little. It had a bit of long fur already, seems to stick by the potty tray and lie down there, bites the tray, doesnt bites the toy much, will also scratch its nose alot. We asked about the scratching and they say probably because havent bath yet. After some time it gets mouthy, staff put a cheesy bar for it to bite
We also asked a lot stuffs and they were willing to answer us and also initiate too. Kinda nice of them!
The puppy will go take vaccines soon then can return home by 16th.
We then went around to other cages to see the little puppies. Really aww. The whole shop doeant smell, very clean as well. Soon after, we pick up the dog pen, tray, and a few other stuffs then we talk to Dino and staffs for awhile more. Left the shop with enthusiam from the staffs and we went off.
We felt Dino wasnt as enthu as it sounds the day before. But can see it likes people (lie down on its back and 撒娇), rubs its face, but a bit mouthy as its still a baby. And so that was our first family meeting 😍
