Woke up and eaten some bread before heading out at 12 plus to erjiu house, this is already the fifth week since his discharge. And its been a little busy..
Sent him to Tower A to see 脑科 who like see see his knees and did a few simple thing. Hmm after less than ten minutes we were done. The doctor taught us to keep a habit to check and write down the measurements for his blood pressure as it is important to track even more for stroke patients. Didnt know until we were told that day lol. The doctor asked my uncle to come back in May.
Then we went to buy the blood pressure monitor after collecting his medicine supply from the pharmacy. After that we went to enquire about medicial report at Tower B. Lastly drove to CPF building to get the form for my uncle case. End up I heard i took the wrong ones.
It wasnt easy to have a disabled person in the family, we were lucky that he had a strong will and really thankful to his higher-up who made the call to us to ask about him.
He fell down in the middle of the night in November, when he got up around 3 or 4am to go to the toilet. Upon standing up, he fell backwards to the ground and hit his head on the wooden bed frame. Thankfully there wasnt sharp edges and he didnt fell on to his closet that comes with glasses. He bled on the back of his head and passed out. In between his unconscious state, he heard his handphone rang but he felt like jelly and couldnt do anything to pull himself towards his desk which he placed his phone on. He described the feeling like dizzy, spinning head and as if something is trying to stop him from carrying himself up, we suspect that was his hallucination.
His higher-up first called my cousin, my dajie, who then called my elder uncle to find second uncle(my erjiu) as they stayed near each other. Mentally prepared for the worst, my elder uncle called a locksmith beforehand and headed over quickly and kept knocking on his door. Luckily the locksmith broke the lock and they went in. But then my erjiu also locked his room when he sleeps, so another lock to break and then another lock was broken with a hammer, ya so two locks in his room LOL. There my uncle was lying in a pool of blood and also urine. My elder uncle described how bad was the stune. The tenant of the house came to his room and helped mopped the floor while waiting the ambulance. Tenant who also was middle-aged had his operation wound hurt, ouch....because he over exerted while trying to mop.
The ambulance sent erjiu to hospital and straight to A&E. I remembered i was doing my part time job in Mediacorp, and I was so anxious to go over and had no mood to reply my manager or the clients. This was so dramatic because we missed the golden hour required to save someone who passed out from bleeding.
When i reached i can see my elder uncle waiting at the lobby and he hadnt eaten anything since that morning. So we waited and waited, he mentioned that erjiu was sent to ICU. Soon after, my elder cousin her husband and baby reached. Then my youngest aunt and my cousin reached. We waited outside and ate a little, and then we were informed to go up like 10pm plus. My elder uncle, elder cousin and youngest aunt went in as three to see my second uncle. That night was crucial. He cannot talk but he can reply "en" thats all. We left the hospital and decide to visit the next day after they checked with the medical team. I didnt met him that night.
Shall continue again soon.
Rumours of Lagerfeld's ill health had swirled for several weeks after he missed a number of events - including Chanel's spring/summer show last month. He died on Tuesday morning after being admitted to hospital the night before, French media report. https://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-47293612
RIP to another legend of his own in the world of fashion..

I haven't seen you in ages
Sometimes I find myself wondering where you are
For me you'll always be eighteen
And beautiful and dancing away with my heart
